... Grandmother Yakhshi who is the mother of Bilgeyis khanum was a person of average height with a smiling sunburnt face and with a heavy nature.

She deeply respected laws of seyids and demanded from everybody to follow these rules. After the disappearence of her husband Seyid Miskin she did her best for bringing up her three children – a son Kyazim and daughters Bilgeyis and Siyatel. She had a strong discipline in doing of issues around the house, had a weaving and creative abilities.

Seyid Kyazim never returned from the war and Siyatel died while bearing a baby.
After the bearth of Zarifa khanum she shared all cares in nursing her and took a tremendous part in fulfilment of divine orders to this lady.

She adored Zarifa khanum as the light of her eyes, breathed with her fortunes and enjoyed her successes with all her heart. She guarded the lady when she sleeped with letargic dreams.

She made her testament at the end of her life and gave all properties remained from seyids to Zarifa khanum as a heritage. She changed her life on starting days of occupation of Kalbajar. God bless her!
